Dearest Trudie

Last night I went to dinner at Dr Rixey’s—among those present, Mrs. John F. Rixey—Mr & Mrs John S. Barbour—all asked for you very specially. To-day, I am lunching at the Wilsons with Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Jones and Dr Axson. I have a telegram from Mrs. Wisdom saying that she is coming to see me to–day—but not to let the patient know it. My steamer trunk was checked to Saratoga Springs to-day, so I am counting on leaving here to-morrow at four o’clock. Will call you from New York which will be about 10.30 day light savings time. Hope all is going well with you, Zoona and the boys. As I did not know about your wishes concerning enclosed bill I am sending it to you—Very, very much love—

Cary
