My dear Mr. Prime Minister
The bearer of this note is my friend Mr. Charles H. Grasty, who is one of the directors of the New York TIMES. He is also a personal friend of President Wilson and a good friend and admirer of yours. Mr. Grasty was in France all during the war and was in Paris during the Peace Conference. He is now on a visit to England. He is a sincere fellow and entirely reliable in every sense of the word. I know him intimately and he is true blue. I feel sure that you will be glad to meet him.
Sincerely yours,
