Pursuant to authority, Hq., SOS, American EF,
First Lieutenant Edward H. Jackson, Photographic Division, Sig. Corps, USA. and Sgt. EA Guetlein, 2313022 and Pvt. James Bennett, 8850591, 55th Service Co., Signal Corps, will report to the executive officer of the Presedential party for duty with that party while it is in Europe proceeding to such places as may be necessary in connection with this duty. Upon the completion of this duty, this officer and these soldiers will return to their proper station.

The Quartermaster Department will furnish the necessary transportation and will pay these men commutation of rations at the prescribed rate, fifteen (15) days of which will be paid in advance, and will reimburse those soldiers for the actual cost of lodging not to exceed the prescribed rate, while on this duty, it being impracticable for them to carry rations in kind, or to be messed or quartered with any organization.

The travel directed is necessary in the military service.

The journey is necessary in the public service.
