Dear Sweetheart
Just a line before going to the theater. It is now eight o’clock and I am expecting the President & Miss down any moment. They asked me here to dinner and to go to the theater. Played golf this morning and have been working on Board duty until 7 o’clock. Very tired, but perfectly well. I miss you and love you more & more every day. This is a poor letter, but to let you know I am thinking of my darling and wishing for you. I would love so dearly to be with you right now and to-morrow. In haste. Here they come.
