Text
Dear,
I have been so busy swinging dumb bells since my return that I have hardly had a spare moment to wield the pen. This is not a letter but just a line to tell you that I miss you terribly—worse than that—and I love you, sweetheart, with all my heart.
I am going to write to-night. I am writing this with a patient sitting in a chair opposite my desk. Things are fine here. In haste—
Cary.
