My dear Mr. Kebort, -
Your letter of June 3rd notifying Admiral Grayson of Mr. Waggoner’s operation was received yesterday. The Admiral sailed for France at four o’clock yesterday afternoon but it is possible he received my telegram about Mr. Waggoner in time to telephone Mrs. Waggoner at Philadelphia. I am sure he is dreadfully sorry to have to leave the country right now when he would have liked to have been with his good friend from Texas.
Inasmuch as I shall be in touch with the Admiral by cable from time to time, I should appreciate it if you would write me of any change in Mr. Waggoner’s condition.
Sincerely yours,
Gladys R. Newman
Secretary.
