My dearest

To-day I asked Smithers to get me reservations for Kingston, RI night, so I hope to see you morning, but don’t you bother to come over to meet me. I can come to Narragansett on the motor car line. I am planning to return here Wednesday, leaving Providence night. I would like to stay longer, but Dr Shaton is on leave and Dr Taylor’s resignation takes effect the 1st of July, so we will be two doctors short next week.

The enclosed clippings tell the story of the Marchoiness of Huntley.

I ordered the Dodge yesterday. Hope White can start for Rhode Island with it this week— Friday or Saturday. Am sure you will like it.

I had a nice visit to Clarke County Sunday. Went down by train Saturday afternoon. All the colts etc are doing well. Mr. Burch and all the horses at Bennings have gone to Saratoga.

Mr. Ross returned from Kentucky . My shingles are much improved. I am so glad you had a fine visit with Poly. Had lunch with Edith to-day; things are moving smoother there in the past four or five days. I shall be glad & happy when morning arrives and I arrive at Narragansett with you all—my darlings—
