Dearest
We landed safely at 9.50, Sheridan Circle. It rained hard all the way to Frederick, after that the roads were dry all the way to Washington. The rain reached here about two o’clock and has been raining hard since.
This is just a line to let you know we did not slip or skid. I miss you very much, and the dear little fellows. I not only enjoyed the visit but it did me lots of good. I love you very dearly, my darling Trudie.
Love to Zoona and the boys.
Yours—
