My dear Admiral
If you think my sentiments as expressed in the letter I wrote Chairman White will cheer the President you might show it to him - It certainly made them feel good at hdqtrs.
I thought it might start a wave of good feeling & help the cause - I am now off for Hartford where I am to speak for the League &c
I certainly enjoyed the pleasant chats with Mrs. Grayson & you.
Yours Sincerely
H Morgenthau
Admiral CT Grayson
