To the Honorable Bainbridge Colby
Washington, DC

Dear Sir

Since you made your speech to the Press Club a short time since I have been intending to write you commending your sentiments endorsing Mr Wilsons policies—I feel very deeply that his friends ought to take some action of approval which I feel should be done before the Democratic Convention. I think that amongh his admirers many would like to organize a Wilsonian Club. If I knew just whom to communicate with I would not trouble you as I feel that the membership of such a club should be made up of citizens outside of office holders Your sentiments impressed me particularly on account of your being a member like myself of Kane Lodge.

Very Truly Yours

FW Pope
