Text
Dear Dr. Grayson
I was greatly disappointed when I learned from Mr. Potter and from Rear-Admiral Stitt that you could not come to the Commencement or to the luncheon. I had gotten ready “to take care of you” and also of Admiral Stitt and Braisted in a becoming manner, but I will have to save my good intentions for another time. DeSchweinitz said he would give me an immediate report regarding his findings but please write me yourself. My mail is absolutely safe.
I am with kindest regards and best wishes,
Most Sincerely Yours,
FX Dercum
To Rear-Admiral Cary T. Grayson.
