Text
My dearest,
Your two letters received to-day delighted me greatly—one arrived at breakfast and the other at lunch time. They made me feel good and stenrengthened my apetite.
Don’t bother about our over-checked bank account. I put $779.80 in it to-day.
I was in 1600 to-day—everything is in fine shape. Clements is right on the job. He received the money all right and paid the taxes, said tell Alice.
The weather is so hot I persuaded the President to post-pone starting west. I am afaraid it would be too much—considering his recent illness. Don’t know just when we will start now. I am hoping and counting on making you a visit, leaving here Saturday.
BMB, Mr. Ross and I have some real business to attend to in Saratoga next week. How would you and the boys like to go?
Thank goodness it is not so hot to day but a plenty, at that.
A thousand thanks for your dear letters, I send you my truest and dearest love—
