Text
Dearest,
I have just come in from a fine gallop in the Bois with Mr. Morgenthau and Col. Strong of the Medical Corps of the army. Feel fine. This afternoon we are going to the Races which are less than ten minutes motor ride from our door. The weather is beautiful here now. I am homesick for a sight of you and the boys. I love you more & more, my darling—Love to the boys and the very dearest for Trudie—
Ever your devoted
