Text
Sweetheart,
We arrived here at 7.30—dined with the King and Queen. I sat next to Mrs. Astor—(nee Longhorne). After eleven o’clock I went over to see Ambassador Francis He told me so many interesting and awful—worse than awful things that are going on in Russia.
This stationery is a contrast from last nights’ letter w written from the Town Hall of the Lord Mayor of Manchester.
My love, this note is just to tell you that I am thinking of you and love you very dearly and miss you terribly. Please take care of your dear little self—
Ever Your own
