The President and I played golf this morning alone. I have worked on the Board all day and it is some job—Delighted to receive your two letters this morning. Hope your headache soon disappeared. B.

B. left for New York to-day. Ned McLean & Mr Ross are dining with me to night. To-morrow will be a busy day—and a little operation besides. The Western Trip is off. So glad Gordon’s rash is gone—A heart full of love to for my precious—and many kisses—
