Text

Thursday,

Paris.

My dearest,

I miss you terribly and long for you every day. I am ready to go home, I want to get back to you and Gordon. I am kept busy all the time, but I miss you more than ever. It is fine to see BMB here and Jesse.

This has been first day of real sunshine since we have been in Paris. It rains or is foggy and misty every day. Every one, nearly, has coughs and colds—but we have all done pretty well—by taking Urotropin and Iodine and Glycerine as preventatives—It was very sad and a sudden shock to hear the news of the death of Col. Roosevelt. The President was fine about it. I have just come in and find that the mail goes home this afternoon. I must tie up the pictures and get them in the US pouch.

Remember me to Margaret, Love to Gordon and a big heart full for you, and take good care of yourself.
