My dear Mr. Wheeler:
I have received your letter of the thirteenth. I have gone over the manuscript which you enclosed very carefully, and, with the exception of the few changes which I have made and to which I call your attention, I do not think any further revision is necessary.
I note with interest what you say regarding the series of articles to which you refer, but just at this time I do not contemplate publishing anything further. I shall, of course, be glad to see you whenever you are in Washington. However, please do not make a special trip.
