Text
My dear Mr. Chairman
I attach a letter from my friend, George V. Strong, a distinguished Colonel of the United States Army, reference his son.
It seems that this young boy has been told by the employing agency that they want to give him a higher rating but cannot do it unless it is authorized from above. I thought perhaps you might be able to tell me who would be the authority in the Potomac Electric Power Company to do this. I even thought maybe you might speak to him yourself.
With best wishes and hoping that you will soon remit to me the balance now due me on our private account of long standing -- I might say, too long standing.
Very sincerely,
Edwin Watson
