Dear little Girl
Just a good by kiss & lots of tender love—I am so sorry we did not have more time together—but I knew you wanted every minute with this blessed Cary & I was so on the jump it couldn’t be helped but I am awfully sorry—We are all just as blue as we can be—but each fellow keeping up his courage—& we will do all we can for the dear one we take from you
You are a wonderful sport—and I am more & more proud of my little girl—
W. joins me in tender love & good by—
“Miss Ede”
Do take Gordon down to see the lambs—you would love them & I am sure he would—
