WEDNESDAY,
The President conferred this morning with Lloyd George and Balfour at the Murat Palace. The British leaders explained the problems which had developed in connection with the Australian objections to the mandatory system that was to be made a part of the administration of the captured German Colonies under the auspices of the League of Nations.
In the afternoon the President went back to the Quai D’Orsay to attend a metting of the Supreme War Council, where the Russian situation was again under consideration.
There was another night conference of the committee on the League of Nations, which began at 8:30 pm, and lasted until after midnight.
DIARY ENTRY:The President had extremely hard day—Peace Conference morning & afternoon.
