SATURDAY, In the afternoon, we attended the conference session at the Quai D’Orsay when the question of inviting the Russians to participate in the Prince’s Islands’ Conference, was taken up. Clemenceau opposed it, but the President and Lloyd George insisted. Finally the plan originated by the President was adopted and the invitation was sent by wireless to the various Russian factions.
