Special Order.
No. 128

Extract.

Pursuant to authority, Hq., SOS, January 4, 1918, Sergeant Edward Shore, 461st Engineers, will report to Adjutant Roux, Versailles, France, for the purpose of taking charge of a shipment of cars from Versailles, France, proceeding from Versailles to Limoge, Grance, by rail. Upon the completion of this duty, this soldier will return to his proper station.

The Quartermaster will furnish the necessary transportation and is authorised to pay this soldier commutation of rations at the prescribed rate for the number of days while on this fduty, it being impracticable to carry rations in kind or to be messed with any organization while on this duty.

The travel directed is necessary in the military service.
