Text

My dear Cyrus:

Your reply to my request about Russia is thoroughly characteristic of you and I thank you with all my heart.

We are getting one of the government vessels ready and it will be a week or so before she can be ready and available in San Francisco, but I will keep you apprised and can only ask, in the meantime, that you will make such preparations as are possible for an early departure.

This is just a hasty line but it is full of deep and sincere appreciation.

Always
Faithfully yours,
Woodrow Wilson

Mr. Cyrus H. McCormick,
Chicago, Illinois.
