Please ascertain from the Secretary of Labor whether he thinks the visit here proposed by Mr. Macy to the Pacific Coast will in any way interfere with or cross wires with the commission of inquiry, and if he does not think so, please apprise Mr. Macy of my entire approval of what he proposes. I take this means as a time-saver.

The President. CLS
