Text

My dear Page

I have your letter of the tenth of September about Admiral Hall and Mr. Bell. I am very glad to fall in with your suggestion and hope that you will some time take some private occasion to assure the Admiral of my very great appreciation of what he has done and the spirit in which he has done it, and Mr. Bell also of my admiration for his part in the work.

I wish I could write a long letter, but you will know why I cannot.

Cordially and faithfully yours,
In haste
Woodrow Wilson

Hon. Walter H. Page,
Ambassador of the United States,
London, England.
