My dear Friend & President

As the whole world turns to you today, you will be flooded with letters & I will only write a line to congratulate you from the depths of my heart for the glorious result of all your efforts & the complete justification of your policies.

You must be a happy man today when you realize what you have wrought. May God who has so far lead you all the way, continue to guide you in all the coming days, with the great issues which will engage you.

Mrs. Dodge joins me in much love & hearty wishes for Mrs. Wilson & yourself

Most thankfully & affectionately Yours
Cleveland H. Dodge
