50,000 Colored Men Called!

A National Conference
of
COLORED MEN

In the interest of the Race and Uncle Sam.

Colored men of the United States, it is true that our race is still greviously burdened with wrongs yet uneliminated; it is also true that we should contend and contend in the future even more zealously than we have in the past, for our pledged or lost rights.

But how can we in the future consistently contend for our constitutional rights unless we now arise from an overdose of apathy and rush to the rescue of our republic, whose existence is being threatened by a foreign foe?
