Text

My dear Senator:

Personal.
Thank you for your letter of July seventh. It was delightfully outspoken, just the kind I like, and you may be sure that I substantially agree with its conclusions and am trying to work along that line. The General is a most difficult person to deal with.
In haste

Cordially and faithfully yours,
Woodrow Wilson

Hon. B. R. Tillman,
United States Senate.
