My dear Sir:-
Woodrow Wilson
I am very sorry that I am about to leave town and have not time for an extended reply to your letter of January 16th; but you will find a very satisfactory account of the establishment and operation of our honor system by a member of our Faculty in the first number of Harper's Weekly for June 1895, and I am sure that every member of the Faculty would tell you that since that time as before its adoption, it has had entire and unqualified success. We are more proud of it than of anything else in the University.
Very sincerely yours,Woodrow Wilson
