Text
My darling
Mother.
Just a hurried line to say that I hope you will be able to arrange to come to Beth's dance. You would lose only one afternoon and the next day; and I think it is going to be an exceptionally pleasant frolic. Helen Henderson will stay here and George H. will be escort for you, his sister, & the two Margarets,—for Madge will be back then. You will meet a lot of boys and it may make your next winter pleasanter. However use your own judgment about it.
I enclose a check for $15.00 a months allowance, travelling expenses if you come, and any other necessaries.
My Sav. address is,
Mother.
